On 21 September 2013 Katherine McCallum and group of friends who live in Newcastle, organised a charity fancy dress horse ride for Megan’s Challenge and raised the fantastic amount of £412.00. They had a great day, with good weather raising additional money on route from passers-by, both of the pubs which they stopped at for refreshments had a whip round and they also even stopped a rugby game, altogether they covered a distance of approx. 14 miles. They caused quite a stir whilst they rode past and became local celebrities for the day whilst promoting awareness of Megan’s Challenge.
A big thank you to all the riders.
