Macmillan Palliative Daycare (King’s Lynn)

By Debbie Thrower We held a presentation at Gayton Social Club on Sunday 20 January 2013 where Megan’s Challengers presented to Teresa Brown a cheque for the fantastic amount of £15,700.00 to Macmillan Palliative Daycare at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King’s Lynn).  This total is a combination of the monies raised from the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, the Summer Event at Gayton Social Club (see

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The challengers all travelled up to Burnley on Friday 15th June 2012 for an early start the following morning, up at 5.15am they then travelled to Horton, the start of the Yorkshire Three Peaks.  Setting off at 7.00am, target time for challengers was under 12 hrs.  They soon realised from the start that they were not going to be blessed with clear skies

Dog Sledding Tour to the Arctic Circle

David of “Adrian Flux Insurance Services” was asked to sponsor the “Judy Woolfenden (MBE) Dog Sledding Tour”, which he kindly did, he was also asked if he would like to join the challenge. The Black Mountain Challenge

On The 14th May 2011 we completed the Big Black Mountain Challenge located in the Brecon Beacons. Summer Event 2012 at Gayton Social Club
