NAR VALLEY WAY CHALLENGE 2019
On Saturday 15th June a group of challengers walked the Nar Valley Way, a 34.5 mile long walk, following almost entirely the River Nar along tracks and minor roads. We started at 5.45am from the Museum of Rural Life at Gressenhall and finished at 5.00pm at Marriotts Warehouse, South Quay, King’sLynn, completing in just over 11hrs. Initially eleven of us started and were joined along the way by a further four, the weather was good, the walk in places a little tough …… but we done it!!
The amount raised so far for the High Dependency Unit, QEH is an incredible £3,970.00.
I would like to thank A10 Autocentre for donating the minibus, Seals Builders, PJ Plumbing, AMR Group, Eyre Group and all our other sponsors for your amazing generosity. A special thanks to Bob Shaw for being our road support, we appreciate it was a long day with a lot of waiting around but it was so good to see you every 4miles or so – great job.
If you would like to sponsor the challengers enabling us to help towards the ongoing quality of care, treatment, services and facilities provided by the HDU, then please contact me on Facebook or donate via our website www.meganschallenge.co.uk
Many Thanks
